Herbicides Used On Plantings

The Inverness Forest Association board asked me to post this information:

Herbicides were used March 20 on the plantings and flowerbeds in our community. Apparently the signs that should have been posted in those areas were not posted. Emerald says they will be posting signs today (March 21).
Emerald says no chemicals were applied to our lawns.
Please do not walk you dogs near these plantings, at least for a few days until the chemicals are absorbed into the soil. Naturally children should not
play in these areas either.

It also appears that whoever was tending to the plantings thought the liriope was grass because it all looks mowed. Can we ask Emerald to make sure the gardeners understand that liriope should be allowed to grow tall (and flower) and not be mowed?
Thanks!

Emerald really cant be trusted using herbicides. They have proved themselves irresponsible in the past. When the issue came up some time ago, the owner seemed more interested in defending himself the in addressing our concerns. I really do not trust them to give a a straight answer answer as to what they are using, how much, and the precautions that need to be taken by their men who apply it, and by the homeowners. I believe that a more trustworthy company should be given responsibility for this task. Thank You-
